CAPABILITIES
Create and provision trial services through the existing WHMCS product automation system.
Start the trial without generating an initial invoice or changing the product’s normal recurring price.
Present customers with a responsive, branded trial page containing product details, benefits and a clear activation button.
Require customers to sign in before activating a trial, connecting every trial to a valid WHMCS client account.
Set a global trial duration between 1 and 365 days.
Choose exactly which WHMCS products customers can activate as trials.
Allow one trial per customer for each product or enforce one trial across all eligible products.
Detect trials that convert through a successfully paid WHMCS service invoice.
Suspend, terminate or pass expired trials to normal WHMCS billing automation.
Monitor total, active, converted and expired trials together with conversion rate and provisioning errors.
Identify active trials scheduled to expire within the next three days.
Review customer, product, service, domain, expiration, status and processing information.
Customize the headline, message, badge, button, features, logo, accent colour, footer and optional CSS.
Generate a dedicated trial URL for every selected WHMCS product.
Copy ready-made button code for use on an external website or sales page.
Restore the product’s standard recurring amount after the free initial trial order is created.
Protect the module with RSA-signed, domain-bound AngleModules licence validation and an offline grace period.
Activate the module by entering only the customer licence key; technical licensing values are already embedded.
LICENSING
An active licence includes technical support for installation, licence activation and reproducible problems caused by the unmodified module on a supported WHMCS and PHP version.
Support does not include WHMCS installation, server administration, custom development, product configuration, provisioning-module problems, payment-gateway problems, third-party theme conflicts or modifications made by the customer.
The customer is responsible for maintaining a working WHMCS cron, correctly configured products, valid recurring prices and functional service provisioning.
Because this is digitally delivered software, refunds are handled according to the AngleModules Refund Policy. Customers must review the compatibility and system requirements before purchasing.
A verified defect that prevents the unmodified module from performing its documented core functionality must first be reported to support with sufficient diagnostic information and reasonable time for investigation.
Refund eligibility does not cover incompatible environments, installation mistakes, third-party module conflicts, misconfigured WHMCS automation, provisioning failures outside the module, licence violations or a change of mind.
Nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot legally be excluded.
RSA-signed validation, domain-bound activations and an offline grace period protect both your installation and the product.
YOUR QUESTIONS
No. It creates the initial trial order at zero cost and then restores the product’s normal recurring amount for future WHMCS billing.
No. The initial trial order is created without an invoice or payment request.
The configured expiry action is applied. The module can suspend the service, terminate the service or allow normal WHMCS billing automation to continue.
Renewal invoicing is handled by the normal WHMCS automation system using the service’s next invoice date and recurring amount. Your WHMCS cron and automation settings must be configured correctly.
The module does not operate a separate email-delivery system. Invoice and payment reminders are sent through the existing WHMCS automation and email-template configuration.
Customers may view the public trial page, but they must sign in to a valid WHMCS client account before activating the service.
No. Trial history is retained and used to prevent repeat activation. Administrators can enforce one trial per product or one trial across all eligible products.
Yes. Administrators can select multiple eligible WHMCS products and generate a dedicated trial link for each one.
Yes, provided the selected WHMCS product has a correctly configured and functional provisioning module. Provisioning failures are recorded for administrator review.
The module selects an enabled recurring billing cycle with valid pricing for the customer’s currency. Make sure each eligible product has the intended recurring prices configured.
Yes. You can configure the headline, subtitle, badge, button, benefit list, logo, accent colour, footer and optional custom CSS.
Yes. The module generates product-specific trial URLs and embeddable button code that can be placed on an external sales website.
A previously validated installation can continue using its signed local licence response until the server-defined offline grace period expires. First-time activation requires access to the licensing server.
No. Trial history is retained so customers cannot regain eligibility simply by deactivating and reactivating the addon.
This release targets WHMCS 9.x running PHP 8.2 or PHP 8.3.
